Better late than ever, so here it goes, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I hope you and your family had a great day. Our Thanksgiving was wonderful. We spent time with family and good friends. I choose this black dress, which is very simple and plain, but very comfortable. To accessorize, I used dark gold jewelry, this big necklace, which I love, and one big and bold ring. My shoes are from BAKERS and I got them like 3 years ago.

This is why I like this store so much. In TJMAXX you can always find good brands and very convenient prices. I bought this dress there. This particular dress is very easy to wear, in my opinion it is a four season dress, it only depends on what kind of accessories you decide to use. My shoes are from CHARLOTTE RUSSO, and my bag from some store in New York. Have a wonderful holiday !!!

Esta es la razon por la cual me gusta tanto esta tienda, TJMAXX, tiene de todo, Buena calidad, buenas marcas y super Buenos precios. Este vestido es super coomodp y facil de llevar, en mi opinion sirve para las cuatro estaciones, todo depende de como lo accessorizes. Que pasen un bello DIA DE ACCION DE GRACIAS!!!!!!!

knee boots are consider provocative and sexy. But if you still like them and don’t want to show too much skin, there are many ways in which you can wear over knee boot and look elegant. A Pair of jeans, leggings and loose sweater are so good together. Same with dark thighs and a dress, you choose the length, but definitely, let this very sexy boots be the main piece in your outfit.

Yes, ruffles are perfect for adding fullness to an area. But be carefull in those areas that you don’t need more volume, because that’s the ruffles job, to ADD VOLUME. Anyway, ruffles are not easy to wear, in general for big hips, bust or wide shoulders, then no ruffles there. Remember also to wear just one piece with ruffles and match it with straight and simple pieces. This dress is from MACYS, got it a long time ago, same with my shoes, very old. That necklace is from the 80’s, oh my! The only new thing here is my clutch , from H&M, but I decorated it! Have a nice day!!!

Los boleros en los disenos de ropa son super femeninos. Solo ten mucho cuidado al usarlos, te ayudan a rellenar esas partes que quieres disimular, como hombros pequenos, caderas delgadas, o poquito busto. Asi que si tienes por ejemplo caderas anchas, olvidalo, alli no van los boleros. Este vestido lo adquiri hace algunos anos en MACYS. Los zapatos de igual forma tienen algun tiempo conmigo y mi collar es de los anos 80. Lo unico nuevo en estas fotos, es mi sobre negro de H&M, pero yo le agregue las piedras y los adornos. Que tengan un bonito dia!

Me gustan muchisimos los caps. Son tan faciles de usar. Si te gusta este accesorio, tienes tanto de donde escojer, tanto en material como en diseno. Es un accesorio facil y divertido. Y sabes que? si estas teniendo uno de esos dias en que tu cabello esta problematico, no le hagas mucho caso, te colocas uno de estos caps y lista para tu rutina del dia. Atrevete con uno! Feliz dia.

I like so much caps, specially the fashion ones. They are like ready to go accessory. If you like them, then you have a wide range of varieties in terms of design and material. It is still a little warm, very sunny and pleasant. Manny things to be done, my mom is coming this week !!! well very, very busy but happy. Since I got these shoes, I wear them all the time, I am basically a platform shoe woman, (they are so comfortable), but these pumps are actually easy to walk on. Got them on line www.justfab.com, and my colorful stripe skirt in J.C Penney. Have a wonderful Monday !

Well, it has been a wonderful summer, the most important thing that happen to me, was to spend a beautiful vacation time with my family in Ecuador, unforgettable…

Here in Connecticut, up in the US north west, summer is a big deal. Because our winter is so long, we like to enjoy every single summer day, like it was the last one.

Hope you like this very colorful outfit in this my last summer blog. As you can see, I am wearing two different kind of shoes, flats and my 6 inch heels. the dress is from www.joyceleslie.com, and the shoes from www.bakers.com. My bag is from some store in Soho, New York.

Llego el final official del verano. He pasado unas vacaciones inolvidables junto a toda mi familia en Ecuador. Aqui arriba en el noreste , Connecticut, el verano es corto, comparado claro con las largas temporadas de frio. Es por eso que cada dia de calorcito lo vivimos como si fuera el ultimo. Espero les guste mi ultimo outfit de verano, lleno de colores super alegres. Como accesorios para este vestido bien ligero, escogi zapatos planos y tambien unos tacones super altos. Vintage or just old?

Vintage, a word to describe something being old, old-fashioned, classical, or from another time. This purse, is my Mom’s. She told me, she got this purse before I was born, O.K, that means, more than 45 years old!!!, I love it. Just go and look into your mom or grandma’s closet. You will find a treasure for sure!!!

Vintage, una palabra super de moda, describe cualquier articulo, de ciertad edad o tiempo, que presentan calidad o marca, pero que no son considerados, “antiguedades”.

Encontre esta cartera en mi ultima visita a casa de mama, me dijo que la tenia desde antes que yo naciera. O.k, eso significa mas de 45 anos, lo cual la hace muy especial, aaah?. De vez en cuando busquen en esos closets de las mamas, abuelas o tias, de seguro se van a encontrar con alguna Buena sorpresa.

I think, today is one of the last very hot day of this summer, well, good excuse to use shorts. I made this black top maybe 13 years ago, and among others, is the one that I love the most. A black, simple and plain black top, is an essential piece in our wardrobe, at list for summer time. Have a happy Friday!!!!

Esta haciendo un dia super caliente y humedo, por eso estoy usando estos shores y top, muy ligeros y comodos. En mi closet tengo prendas, todavia con etiqueta, pero tengo tambien muchas otras prendas de ropa muy viejitas, las cuales conservo con mucho carino, como este top, debe tener conmigo unos 13 anos, es muy simple pero lo adoro. Pienso que un top sencillo y negro es una prenda basica en nuestro closet, por lo menos para el verano. Besitos y HAPPY FRIDAY!
