Comfortable and very high, I adore platforms. People always ask me how I can walk on them, I could run ! Some might believe that platforms are contemporary, but they are really very old, from ancient Rome and Greece, they were used in theater, and right through the centuries, in the 16 th and 18th centuries. They appear more refined through the years 30, 40 and 50, but in the decade of the 70s is when they gain the most strength, (I love fashio history, I taught this subject at various fashion institutes in Ecuador) I dare to say that the year that platforms rose to their highest expression was in 2011, remember the designs of Alexander Mcquenn ? This year 2013, platforms are in fashion but with lower height. I am loyal to them, whether or not in trend.

Comodas y muy altas, adoro las plataformas, siempre me preguntan como camino con ellas, podria correr!. Algunos podrian creer que las plataformas son contemporaneas, pero son realmente muy antiguas, desde la antigua Grecia y Roma fueron usadas en representaciones de teatro, y a traves de los siglos, en el 16 y en el 18, y luego mas refinadas aparecen por los años 30, 40 y 50, pero es en la decada de los 70 que adquiere su mayor fuerza, (me encanta la historia de la moda, fui profesora de esta materia en varios institutos de moda en Ecuador), me atrevo  a decir que el año en que las plataformas subieron a su mas alta expresion fue en el 2011, se acuerdan de los diseños de Alexander Mcquenn? Este año 2013, se conservan las plataformas pero baja la altura, pero yo soy fiel a ellas, esten o no en tendencia.
