LOVE COLORS!

There are no rules for combining or contrast, neon, prints, pastels, primary classic, together or apart is the time to have a party with them. Up here in the north-east, temperatures finally make us feel the desire to wear them all. Have a wonderful day full of color!

Estamos en un momento de la moda, donde el protagonista es el COLOR!, no existen reglas para combinarlos o contrastarlos, neones, prints, pasteles, clasicos primarios, juntos o separados es el momento para hacer una fiesta con ellos.  Aqui arriba en el Nor-este, finalmente las temperaturas nos hacen sentir ese deseo de vestir con todos ellos. Aprovechemos entonces la energia que nos da EL COLOR!

Este maquillaje lo hice con una de mis bases preferidas, Makeup forever, me encanta el cubrimiento que tiene, muy suave y no tienes que usar mucha cantidad. Lo termino con mis polvos Iman, y personalmente me encanta esta linea de labiales de  L’Oreal, porque realmente dura por horas, tanto asi, que debes usar removedor de maquillaje de ojos para eliminarlos, sin embargo es un poco seco, pero se arregla colocandole el cubridor de brillo que trae el labial. I did this makeup with one of my favorite foundations, Makeup forever. I love the coverage, very smooth, and you don’t  have to use lots of it. The final touch: my Iman powders. Personally I love this line of lipsticks from L’Oreal, because it really lasts for hours. You even should use eye makeup remover to clean your lips. It is a little dry, but this lipstick comes with a gloss, use it !       Kisses

Cold spring

Another beautiful spring day, but the cold will not go away. Anyway, the sun is here and it  changes the meaning of the day. I decided to wear a mini skirt from H & M, these dresses are perfect for the transition between winter and spring, the fabric is warm and has long sleeves. The little dress is a princess style, so I decided to add a black belt.  Princess style supposedly lengthens the figure but I do not feel very comfortable in it (princess cut is coming from the bottom of the breast). As the dress is very simple, I added some pieces of jewelry. This nice necklace is handmade by a friend. As for the shoes, which I talked about in another blog, I declare myself a fan of shoes “without heels”, they are so high and comfortable. Otro bonito dia de primavera, pero el frio no se quiere ir. El sol cambia el significado del dia, asi que no importa si no esta tan caliente. Hoy me decidi a vestir una minifalda de H&M, este tipo de vestidos son perfectos para la transicion entre invierno y primavera, la tela es abrigada y tiene las mangas largas, el corte es princesa, asi que decidi agregarle un cinturon negro. Los cortes princesas supuestamente alargan la figura pero no me siento muy comoda con ellos (corte princesa es el que sale desde abajo de los senos). Como el vestido es muy sencillo le agregue, mucha fantasia, el collar que tengo puesto es hecho a mano por  una amiga. Y en cuanto a los zapatos, ya les hable en otro blog, me declare fan de los zapatos “sin tacon”, altos, wedges y comodos, para mis princesas que quieren saber donde los compre, es en esta pagina web online:www.amyclubwear.com.  Que pasen un bello dia!

Sneakers with heels!

We are in the middle of Spring but still with 50 degrees …, so we can not get rid of the sweteres. I really wanted to show you my cool sneakers with heels. The truth is, I bought them many years ago, and I have not seen them in stores again. I think they are super fun for a  casual look, of course worn with my usual leggings. Thanks a lot for reading my blog.  I wish you a super nice day !

Ha sido definitivamente muy lento este cambio de invierno a primavera, por ello no podemos deshacernos de los sweteres. Tenia muchisimos deseos de ensenarles mis zapatos de goma con tacones, la verdad los compre hace muchisimos anos, y no los he vuelto a ver, pienso son super divertidos para un look informal acompanados con mis leggings de siempre. Queria decirles, ademas, gracias por leer mi blog, les deseo un super  bonito dia.

Black and white

I am absolutely in love with this trend, that  has always existed even since the renaissance. It looks good on all women, depending on where you put the white and black color( blocks in black and white works different than stripes in our bodies) In my case, because is   still a little cold, I used this combination  all in black and white, with silver accessories and huge heels in the same shade, fully matchy matchy,( means, every thing is perfectly coordinate). Love you girls, have a great day!

Estoy absolutamente enamorada de esta tendencia, que simplemente esta in ahora, pero que siempre ha existido( inclusive desde la epoca del renacimiento),  y que siempre nos ha encantado. Le queda bien a todas las mujeres, dependiendo, donde te pones el blanco y donde ubicas  el color negro (los bloques en blanco y negro funcionan diferente a las rayas) En mi caso, con todavia un poco de frio, use esta combinacion en absoluto  blanco y negro, con accesorios plateados y unos tacones rascacielos en serpiente del mismo tono, totalmente machi,machi, expression que significa, “todo coodinado,  pero asi mismo lo queria, que tengan un espectacular dia!

Leopard sandals

My new sandals, with touches of metal, not very high and comfortable. I bought them in Forever 21, as you know the prices are so reasonable and as you can see in the picture the quality is very good, would you wear them???

Mis nuevas sandalias, con toques de metal, no son muy altas y son comodas, para todas aquellas amantes de los zapatos. Son de Forever 21, como ya saben los precios son tan razonables y como pueden apreciar en la foto tienen muy buena calidad, se los pondrian???

Another super trend for this year  2013.  The peplum style, either in blouse, dress or skirt, is so in, you can see it everywhere. Was already hinting since last year, but it was  quite unnoticed, but now you see it everywhere. We went to  a birthday of a dear friend, to her beautiful restaurant, is still  a little cold at night, and  I decided to wear  this super-elastic peplum blouse with a loose-fitting skirt in stripes (another great trend this year), and always accompanied of my super high heels, have a beautiful day!

Otra de las tendencias super marcadas para este ano 2013, la faldita sobre puesta o peplum , bien sea en   blusa, vestido o falda, el detalle esta en que viene incluida con la prenda. Ya venia insinuandose desde el ano pasado que paso bastante inadvertida, pero ahora la ves en todas partes. Estuvimos en el cumpleanos de una querida amiga, en su restaurant, todavia con un poquito de frio me  decidi por esta blusa peplum super elastica , con una falda muy cenida al cuerpo en rayas ( otra de las  grandes tendenciasde este ano), y siempre acompanada de mis super altisimos tacones,  que pasen un hermoso dia!

IMAN POWDER

La linea de cosmeticos IMAN, fue lanzada  en ano 1994, por la superfamosisima modelo Iman, por alla en los anos 80. Lo que hace esta linea cosmetica unica es que fue creada para pieles de color, latinas, asiaticas, Indias, Nativas Americanas asi como otros grupos etnicos. La pigmentacion oliva o amarillenta de sus cosmeticos hace exista ese color exacto para nuestras pieles morenas. En mi caso me llevo tiempo entender que esta prohibido  usar tonos rosas en pieles cafes, y a pesar de que sigo experimentando con bases, este polvo es definitivamente el que me da el acabado perfecto a mi tono. Si eres morena como yo, seguro es una buena opcion!

IMAN cosmetics line was launched in 1994 by the top  model Iman, back in the 80s.  What makes this unique is that  this cosmetic line was created for skin of color, Latino, Asian, Indian, Native American as well as other ethnic groups. The success of this line is that , because is made for this special ethnic groups, the pigmentation with olive and yellowish matches our skin. In my case, it took me time to understand that it is a huge mistake to choose pink shades for brow skins, and even though I’m experimenting with bases, this powder is definitely giving me the perfect finish to my tone. If you’re brown skinned like me, this is a good option !
